| Through the Looking Glass Photography holds all rights to images and prints produced by this studio. It is unlawful to copy images from this website or any digital images or prints baring this studio's copyright logo. By doing so, you may be subject to fines of up to $100,000 plus legal fees. Now, with all that being said, Through the Looking Glass Photography does have some options for you to obtain the copyright to images of your or your family. We will not sell the copyright to anyone who is not related to the subjects in the image. To obtain full rights to the original digital file, there is a $50 fee per image. You will receive that original file, and there will be no other copies of that file retained by the studio. You will receive a copyright release document stating that the creator has signed over the rights to you, allowing you to do whatever you want with it. If you would like to just get a digital copy of the image to have reproduced for a publication or product not offered by the studio, we offer the copy with limited rights for $30 per image. You will receive a copy of the original file, the original will be retained by the studio to be archived should you require more prints in the future. You will also receive a copyright release stating the images intended use, that it is a "one time use" release, and that it will expire 1 year from the day you purchase the copy. We are currently not offering the rights to scan your already existing prints. We want you to have the best quality recreation of our work, and do not feel that scanning your prints will give you the best quality. We do offer CDs of your proofs for $50 per sitting. The price for wedding proofs will be negotiated after the ceremony, but will not be more than $100. These images are smaller versions of the originals, and the do bare the studio's copyright. These images are for sharing with your family and friends via the internet, not for printing. Thank you. |
